July 4th, 1976. Two hundred years after the signing of the Declaration of Independence, America has changed a lot. Far removed from the original ideals are some individuals. The youth becoming more and more opposed to the "freedom" promised, while others use their power for their own personal gain. It's enough for the Founding Fathers to be rolling in their graves, literally.

Directed by Jaden Bush, The General leans on a strong ensemble — Patrick Steffer, Madison Pulica, Claire Ryan Allen — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.

The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about horror titles of 2026.
