
The story tells of Hajah Rohimah, a respected teacher in the local community for her dedication and sacrifice. After her husband's death, Hajah Rohimah is enveloped in silence and begins to face difficult times in her old age. Hajah Rohimah struggles to maintain the fading happiness in her two worlds, as a mother and as a teacher. Her passion as an educator must come to an end due to illness, and how Hajah Rohimah faces family problems that distance her relationship with them due to a decision made by her late husband.
Directed by Riza Baharudin, Wan Senja leans on a strong ensemble — Fauziah Dato’ Ahmad Daud, Ali Reza Kavoossi, Nur Nabila Mohd Razali — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
