# Synopsis Translation The story follows a special child named Jibam or Ashraf who is somewhat slow-witted, but Jibam possesses a hidden gift. Jibam inherits his father Suman's talent for healing diseases. Suman is mysteriously killed in the forest, and the circumstances of his death remain a mystery. Additionally, the story introduces Tok Ngah Sudin, a character who will certainly provoke hatred and anger from every viewer due to his betrayal of friendship and his enmity with Jibam to the point where he is willing to end the life of this young child. Tok Ngah Sudin constantly torments him, and as a result, Jibam is beaten severely by Tok Ngah Sudin. It is not only Tok Ngah Sudin's character that is despicable; the character of Fakir also makes a strong impression. Fakir is Jibam's eldest brother but is a brother in name only. Fakir is neither a good brother nor a good son.
Directed by Che Mie, Sinopsis Filem Jibam leans on a strong ensemble — Mohd Ariff Bin Abdullah, Bohari Ibrahim, Syafie Naswip — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about screen titles of 2017.
