Meh Sandar Pada Aku

# English Translation The story follows Afnan Tasneem, a girl who is always cheerful and quite scatterbrained. Afnan Tasneem is doing an internship at a research center to complete her studies. There she begins her encounter with a supervisor considered arrogant and an endangered male species, Dr Syed Nadzhan. Dr Syed Nadzhan lives without a woman in his life. After his parents' failed marriage, he considers women a burden to his life. Accepting Afnan Tasneem as an intern under his supervision was indeed headache-inducing because previously Dr Syed had never accepted a female intern. Throughout Dr Syed's supervision, Afnan Tasneem is often bullied and given instructions without proper guidance. The presence of Adam Naufal stirs Dr Syed's feelings. Afnan Tasneem, who frequently complains about Dr Syed's treatment to Adam Naufal, is unaware that Adam Naufal, also Dr Syed's intern, can see that Dr Syed likes Afnan Tasneem.

Directed by Emi Suffian Abd Sabhe, Meh Sandar Pada Aku leans on a strong ensemble — Mira Filzah, Aliff Aziz, Jaja Iliyes — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.

The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about screen titles of 2016.
