Marissa Aisya or Aris is a graduate from Melbourne University, Australia who is suddenly told to become a tea lady at her father's company. Without much question, Marissa just goes along with it. She wants to be an obedient daughter to her father, because only he remains. Her late mother has been gone for a long time. At the office, she is often bullied by Naqib Zakuan, a structural engineer who has worked at her father's company for a long time. Zakuan, who has just broken up with Maisarah, has promised his mother that he wants to bring his lover back to Sungai Petani that week. Instead of mentioning Maisarah's name, he mentions Marissa's name. By mistake, Marissa becomes the scapegoat. Zakuan is forced to devise a plan to trick Marissa into going with him to Sungai Petani to meet his mother. After being threatened, Marissa finally agrees to help Zakuan.
