Perempuan Tanpa Dosa

For the sake of honor, Datuk Majid is forced to marry off his only child, Lily, to Rizal, and Rizal will only release Lily once she safely delivers the child she is carrying. In return, Rizal requests a sum of money and with it he builds a life in his hometown. When Lily's feelings of affection and love for Rizal begin to blossom, Eddie returns to win Lily's heart and also claim the child she is carrying. Although at first Lily is determined to stay with Rizal, her feelings become divided when she learns of Rizal's relationship with Usu Sakinah. She then leaves and returns to Kuala Lumpur with her child. Realizing the situation between Lily and Rizal, Usu Sakinah has buried her hopes for Rizal and accepts Rahman's proposal. In Lily's absence, Rizal truly feels lost and longing, and realizes that he has begun to love Lily and attempts to persuade her to return to his embrace. Will Rizal succeed?

Directed by Michael Ang, Perempuan Tanpa Dosa leans on a strong ensemble — Kamal Adli, Uqasha Senrose, Uyaina Arshad — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.

The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about screen titles of 2020.
