Mata Ketiga

The story follows Faizul, a local university student who is blessed with a special gift where he can communicate with the mystical realm. The adventure begins when Faizul and his four close friends join a forest expedition led by Professor Mazlan. Faizul, being more knowledgeable in forest lore, advises his friends to observe the taboos when in the forest. Unfortunately, his advice goes unheeded and the situation worsens when Farah becomes possessed. Since that incident, Faizul attempts to uncover the truth about his third eye.

Directed by C. Kumaresan, Mata Ketiga leans on a strong ensemble — Hafeez Mikail, Mustaqim Bahadon, Isyariana Azmi — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.

The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about screen titles of 2021.
