Man Santan, the coconut milk seller, is upset with the villagers' attitude of looking down on his profession. Eventually, the villagers face a problem as the festive season approaches, with the entire village having no supply of coconut milk and coconuts. Moreover, the village's remote location makes it difficult for raw materials to be supplied.
Directed by Mohd Latiff Zami, Man Santan leans on a strong ensemble — Azam Pitt, Sissy Imann, Syazwan Zulkifly — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about screen titles of 2020.
