# English Translation Amin's resentment and anger drive him to meet his biological father, Hasyim, who abandoned him and his mother long ago. Although he and his mother receive monthly money transfers and letters, Amin remains angry with his father for never visiting them since he started working in the city. Amin's resentment intensifies when his mother dies from emotional stress and depression while thinking about his father. Armed with a letter from his father, Amin is determined to track down his father in the city and meets Ash, a homeless man. Amin is impressed by Ash's way of life, despite being abandoned since childhood. However, Ash harbors no resentment towards his biological parents. Amin's ego begins to waver. Amin continues his mission to find his father and successfully discovers where he lives. Amin is stunned by the affluence of the residential area. Amin is shocked when he discovers the truth that has been hidden all this time.
Directed by Bade Hj. Azmi, Dendam Kasih Ayah leans on a strong ensemble — Izzy Reef, Daniel El Arash, Arash Mohd — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
