# The Story of Azlan The story of Azlan, who is overly pampered by his parents, to the extent that his nature of seeking praise carries over into his daily life with his neighbors and also at school. This happiness can be seen at home and at school whenever all of Azlan's activities and behavior that seek praise are enjoyed by his friends, teachers, and his parents. This situation makes Azlan someone who is often given attention by his friends, teachers, neighbors, and his parents. One day all of this is like being buried. Azlan's parents are involved in an accident while returning from dropping Azlan off at school. As a result of the accident, Azlan's mother dies and his father becomes blind in one eye and breaks his leg. Since that incident, Azlan cannot forgive his father. Azlan accuses his father of being the cause of the destruction of the happiness that he has enjoyed all this time.
Directed by Isqandar Jebat, Restu Ayah leans on a strong ensemble — Azhan Rani, Atiq Azman, Badrul Muhayat — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
