# Love Non Grata It tells the story of Darlina who is always chasing popularity on social media. Although she often attracts men's attention with her beauty, Darlina has yet to meet a rich man to use for acquiring a luxurious lifestyle. In contrast, there is Hakim, an optimistic man who wants to change the fate of those around him so he can teach them lessons in life. The love relationship between Hakim and Kartini in the past had an impact on Hakim himself. He does not want to experience the same fate as his brother, Haikal, who was disappointed after being abandoned by Darlina. Hakim wants to get to know Darlina more closely and take revenge for Darlina's actions towards his brother. Abdullah (Esma Daniel), Hakim's father, is a personal assistant to Datuk Marzuki (Edika Yusuf). Hakim will replace his father's position if Abdullah can no longer work. Datuk Marzuki has a wife, Datin Jannah, and a daughter, Zatul.

Directed by Feroz Kader, Cinta Non Grata leans on a strong ensemble — Amelia Henderson, Raja Afiq, Mona Allen — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.

The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about screen titles of 2018.
