# Fiza The story tells of Fiza (Rita Rudaini) who is diagnosed with stage three breast cancer. Although she has undergone chemotherapy and surgery several times, this mother of two remains steadfast in living her daily life, driven by an unwavering spirit to see her husband, Hakimy (Aqasha), and her two beloved children, Iskandar (Wan Umar Harith) and Fea (Farzana Latiff). Knowing that her time is running short, Fiza prays every day that she can find a good replacement wife for her husband and a responsible mother for her children. She has made various attempts in her search mission, but Hakimy, who loves her dearly, is not yet prepared to accept anyone to replace Fiza. There are several candidates who seem suitable for Hakimy but are unable to care for the children with full affection. Suhaina, more affectionately known as Mek Su (Raysha Rizrose), is a teacher at the kindergarten that Fea attends. She is a simple, beautiful girl who knows how to win the hearts of children.
Directed by Azmi Hatta, Misi Laksa Dan Laksam leans on a strong ensemble — Aqasha, Rita Rudaini, Raysha Rizrose — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about screen titles of 2017.
