And above all, the political forces in center and right are moved to the claim that the Socialists will win by a landslide. Then begins the hunt for possible partnerships. Each of the delegates of the center parties want to win the favor of the delegate of the PSOE in the area.
Directed by Mariano Ozores Puchol, ¡Que vienen los socialistas! leans on a strong ensemble — José Sacristán, Luis Escobar, Antonio Ozores — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
