About Night of the Wolf
During a live broadcast of a talk show on a TV channel, a group of armed Chechen terrorists take several hostages. The terrorists demand the hostage drama is transmitted live worldwide. Meanwhile, behind the scene, the police negotiator and a special police unit are working to try to rescue the hostages.
Directed by Kjell Sundvall, Night of the Wolf leans on a strong ensemble — Anneke von der Lippe, Dejan Čukić, Jørgen Langhelle — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about action titles of 2008.
