About The Little War
In the confusion of combat, two Italian get separated from their squadron and become hopelessly lost. As they wander the countryside attempting to find their lost comrades, they have to adopt all manner of outrageous disguises to avoid death at the hands of whomever holds the reigns of control.
Directed by Franco Prosperi, The Little War leans on a strong ensemble — Enrico Montesano, Alighiero Noschese, Renato De Carmine — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about comedy titles of 1970.
