About Toprağın Oğlu Sabuha
Toprak and his wife Sabuha are killed by Kadir Ağa's men while they are seizing their land. İbrahim survives the attack but is left an orphan. Recep takes İbrahim in as his adopted son and raises him. Recep's daughter Hatçe and İbrahim fall in love. Hatçe goes to Istanbul to study. İbrahim becomes a famous singer. He will devise a plan to take revenge and reunite with his beloved.
Directed by Oksal Pekmezoğlu, Toprağın Oğlu Sabuha leans on a strong ensemble — Güngör Bayrak, Ibrahim Tatlises, Erol Taş — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about drama titles of 1978.
