Delirious Saturdays

From Friday night 'til Sunday morning, the doors of a new world open inside a nightclub in the South Zone of Rio de Janeiro. We watch the emotions and conflicts experienced by a series of characters, who find on the dance floor the ideal stage to represent the tragedy of their lives.

Directed by Cláudio Cunha, Delirious Saturdays leans on a strong ensemble — Sandra Bréa, Djenane Machado, Rogério Fróes — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.

The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about music titles of 1979.
