Late

A young, and, as yet unsuccessful journalist is assigned to write an article about a teacher at his old school who is suspected of sexual misconduct. He approaches a former fellow-pupil for help. Their meeting has unexpected consequences.

Directed by Paul Negoescu, Late leans on a strong ensemble — Diana Cavallioti, Constantin Diţă, Tudor Aaron Istodor — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.

The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about drama titles of 2008.
