










When Tex is brought in to fight in a range war between the cowmen and the nesters, he meets his old outlaw boss Lassiter. He learns Lassiter is behind the feud when Lassiter asks him to join up with his gang. Tex refuses and instead sets out to stop the feud but no one will believe him that Lassiter is responsible.
Directed by Sam Newfield, The Feud Maker leans on a strong ensemble — Bob Steele, Marion Weldon, Karl Hackett — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about western titles of 1938.

Questions arise when Senator Stoddard attends the funeral of a local man named Tom Doniphon in a small Western town.
