About Kvinnens plass
Journalist Tore Haugen returns to Norway from the United States. He falls in love with journalist Tore Næss and soon discovers that he has been hired by the same newspaper as her. Næss shows outstanding qualities and develops into a star reporter, while Haugen is mediocre. When they have a child together, the question arises as to who should sacrifice their career to stay home with the child. Haugen soon finds himself comfortable in the role of stay-at-home dad.
Directed by Nils R. Müller, Kvinnens plass leans on a strong ensemble — Lars Nordrum, Inger Marie Andersen, Odd Borg — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
