Five sisters, known in the town as Las Josefitas vírgenes, anxiously await the arrival of a man who is only interested in marrying the youngest. But things aren't that easy, and, in the struggle to defend her love, the youngest sister faces the burden and prejudices of a stifling society.
Directed by René Pereyra, The Arrival of Conrado Sierra leans on a strong ensemble — Maite Perroni, Susana Dosamantes, Joaquín Cosío — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
