The mayor of the small Bavarian village of Hirnkirchen runs a poorly performing inn with his two good-looking and very busy daughters. When advertising experts Bob and Bert Vogel arrive in the village, they promise the mayor that they will replace the dusty regulars with wealthy visitors from all over Germany. What follows is a turbulent vacation season which, thanks to the inn's attractive daughters, involves a lot of physical activity.
Directed by Walter Boos, Urlaubsgrüße aus dem Unterhöschen leans on a strong ensemble — Anneliese Groebl, Eva Gross, Leopold Gmeinwieser — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
