Dr. Brochard, the owner of the massage clinic "Academia Mãos de Ouro" in Rio de Janeiro, fires two employees for prostituting themselves on the side to the customers. In their place he hires two virgins, Virgem and Berta who are both immediately set upon by the womanizing driver Duda de Almeida.
Directed by Carlo Mossy, The Massage Professionals leans on a strong ensemble — Amândio, Wilza Carla, Edson Rabello — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about comedy titles of 1976.
