Feelings

When a widowed fisherman moves in with his brother and sister-in-law to escape the collapsing Nazi forces, he finds himself caught up, like Lithuania itself, in perilous questions of collaboration and occupation, resistance and escape.

Directed by Almantas Grikevičius, Algirdas Dausa, Feelings leans on a strong ensemble — Regimantas Adomaitis, Juozas Budraitis, Regina Paliukaitytė — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.

The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about history titles of 1968.
