Always treacherous to navigate, the high school social scene is made even more so if you don't look like everyone else. Such is the case for half-black/half-Latino big boy Stefan Daily. Luckily for him, he's not the only outcast in this dark comedy.

Directed by Aaron Burns, Blacktino leans on a strong ensemble — Austin Marshall, Devyn Ray, Tiger Sheu — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.

The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about comedy titles of 2011.
