In this unofficial sequel, his brother, Cheng Chao-Chun, visits his brother in Thailand, finds a job at the same ice factory that his brother worked at and avenges the death of their father.
Directed by Chan Chue, The Big Boss Part II leans on a strong ensemble — Lo Lieh, Wang Ping, Michael Chan Wai-Man — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about action titles of 1976.
