Although the psychologist Jennifer Walters is imprisoned in a women's prison, she is allowed to continue her profession internally due to good conduct, as well as to move freely within the complex. Not very enthusiastic about the conditions in prison, she listens to the hair-raising stories of a young girl named Anna in sessions, who is being treated for severe depression with her. Stories come to light that are not for everyone. Jennifer analyzes the conditions and documents torture, rape, homosexuality and sex orgies. In addition, Jennifer is very fond of the girl and wants to help her.
Directed by Andreas Bethmann, Notgeile Knastjulen - Zur Unzucht erzogen leans on a strong ensemble — Anita Blue, Lucy Lain, Nikoletta — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about thriller titles of 2004.
