Adimakal

Raghavan, hard of hearing and speech-impaired, falls in love with Ponnamma, a maid at a rich man's house. When the rich man abandons Ponnamma after seducing her, Raghavan decides to give her shelter.

Directed by K. S. Sethumadhavan, Adimakal leans on a strong ensemble — Prem Nazir, Sathyan, Sheela — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
