About Arche. Czyste zło
Arche means the source that still beats and from it flows the world. Christians can call God by the name of Arche. He is also the one who was in the beginning, from him the world originated and he keeps this world alive. In the Middle Ages, the source was also sought in the philosopher's stone - it, too, was supposed to act as the golden rule and only a side effect of its action was to be transmutation - that is, turning lead into gold. In the film, Arche is a mysterious Source through which time and space can be influenced.
Directed by Grzegorz Auguścik, Arche. Czyste zło leans on a strong ensemble — Robert Gonera, Andrzej Olejnik, Ilona Wrońska — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about science fiction titles of 2003.
