About Mariti in pericolo
Two men, business partners, fall in love with the same girl. Their wives react accordingly, but one seems to take it more calmly. This makes her husband suspicious, and he begins to believe that she is also having an affair, with his business partner. An inevitable series of misunderstandings ensues.
Directed by Mauro Morassi, Mariti in pericolo leans on a strong ensemble — Sylva Koscina, Mario Carotenuto, Memmo Carotenuto — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about comedy titles of 1960.
