Sleepwalkers

A bike messenger, an electrician, a postal worker, a business man and an office worker make their way through an evening in New York City. A collection of eight large-scale moving images projected on the walls of New York's Museum of Modern Art.

Directed by Doug Aitken, Sleepwalkers leans on a strong ensemble — Donald Sutherland, Tilda Swinton, Seu Jorge — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.

The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about documentary titles of 2007.
