About The Camera and Christopher Merk
Christopher Merk moves into a building in which every tenant can observe every other tenant through a system of perpetually running cameras installed in the apartments. The tenants are eager participants in this micro-culture of exhibitionism and voyeurism, but Christopher soon finds he has difficulty recognizing himself in his on-screen image.
Directed by Brandon Cronenberg, The Camera and Christopher Merk leans on a strong ensemble — Philip Riccio, Kyra Harper, Alastair Love — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about science fiction titles of 2010.
