Frog

Frog is a Malayalam short film produced by Kazhcha Film Forum, a film society in Kerala. Frog has been widely accepted for its artistic values and possibilities of multiple reading. It has been officially selected to various film festivals across the country. Frog has won 3 awards, including the award for the Best Tele-film in the Kerala State Television Awards 2012. This low budget movie (Produced for a budget of around INR.40000/-) is a result of the collective efforts of a group of film lovers under the umbrella of Kazhcha Film Forum.

Directed by Sanal Kumar Sasidharan, Frog leans on a strong ensemble — Krishnan Balakrishnan, Ratul Sreekumar, Anila Chandran R — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.

The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about adventure titles of 2013.
