Aziz, once a well-known theater actor, has left his glory days far behind. With the help of two close friends, he tries to make ends meet by staying in hotel rooms. Meanwhile, Veli, who knows about Aziz's situation and supports him, arranges performances for him. Thus, Aziz is able to cover his accommodation expenses by performing as a storyteller. No longer as young and strong as he once was, Aziz begins to notice that his health is deteriorating. The active life he has led has taken a toll on his heart. Realizing that he is nearing the end of his life, he wants to correct a mistake he made in the past and has been tormented by for a long time before leaving this world. He begs Veli to let him join the tour with the team. With a desire known only to himself, hoping to correct his mistake, this will also be his final journey to confront his past.
Directed by Batur Emin Akyel, Meddah leans on a strong ensemble — Münir Canar, Tuğçe Kumral, Evren Bingöl — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
