Seung-Hyeon was good in the study at a high school at Mokpo city (Southwestern city in Korean Peninsula), and is excellent in the sports. He is transferred to another school. In new high school, a student named Sam-Yuk can exercise strong physical strength and do sports game well, but is poor in the study. Both young students compete each other in various fields, and Sam-Yuk is steadily influenced by Seung-Hyeon to devote himself to the study to become an exemplary student.
Directed by Kim Eung-chun, A Good High School Student leans on a strong ensemble — Lee Seung-hyun, Lee Dong-jin — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about screen titles of 1978.
