About Adana İşi
Maksut and Şimşek, who work as plumbers, are assigned to repair the plumbing at the bank on New Year's Eve. Their efforts result in them accidentally demolishing the wall of the bank vault, leaving them face to face with the money stored there. Although they believe that this money has been sent by God to save them from poverty, it brings them nothing but trouble.
Directed by Ali Adnan Özgür, Adana İşi leans on a strong ensemble — Murat Akkoyunlu, Melih Selçuk, Ceyda Ateş — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about comedy titles of 2015.
