About Nazanin
Nayyerr is an orphan girl who is taken care of by her old aunt Effat, and she is pregnant by a young man named Morteza. Morteza is a young man who has evaded military service many times and his term of service has been extended. He escapes from service again and goes to his hometown Anzali, and after learning about the problem of Nayyer, he persuades her to have an abortion.
Directed by Alireza Davoudnejad, Nazanin leans on a strong ensemble — Googoosh, Changiz Vossoughi, Reza Atayi — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about drama titles of 1977.
