Ciao Pirla!

While working on his fourth album, Oscar Daniello, lead singer of Delafé y Las Flores Azules, lost his father. This loss would permeate every song on the album *De mi sin ti y De ti sin mi*. And it would lead the singer to feel the need to fulfill a promise: the promise of a journey, an adventure into the unknown, to ride his bicycle back to Desio with his father.

Directed by Luis Comajuan, Oscar D'Aniello, Josep Badell, Ander Agudo, Ciao Pirla! leans on a strong ensemble — Oscar D'Aniello, Helena Miquel, Dani Acedo — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.

The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about documentary titles of 2013.
