And that's true. No brave prince, but Princess Máňa will free the innocent Honza from hell and make such order there that the devils will only hate to remember her.
Directed by Vlasta Janečková, Nezbedná pohádka leans on a strong ensemble — Jana Boušková, Ivan Luťanský, Ladislav Pešek — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about family titles of 1977.
