Sawdust in the Blood used to be a Carny compliment...not a description of a crime scene. Directed by Brian Corder, Carnies leans on a strong ensemble — Doug Jones, Chris Staviski, Reggie Bannister — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.

The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about thriller titles of 2010.
