About Agents 005 Against Goldenfoot
Two James Bond fans, Kosmas and Damianos Bouralas, own a wine bar and hold a 5% stake in an industry. Mikes Pararas, who owns 47.5% of the same industry, is a wealthy man who, together with his partner Telis Hatzineftis, exploits and mistreats the employees and steals from the company. The arrival of the owner of the other 47.5%, Rita Pavlidi, will help the two friends take control of the business, after Chrysopodaros' misdeeds are revealed.
Directed by Orestis Laskos, Agents 005 Against Goldenfoot leans on a strong ensemble — Kostas Hatzihristos, Giannis Gionakis, Kostas Rigopoulos — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about comedy titles of 1965.
