This much is true: he’s overly obsessed with Angie Cheung (as many are I'm sure) and spends his time acting wacky. Ultimately, what we discover is that he’s wacky, but still not as wacky as we were led to believe.
Directed by Lee Tso-Nam, Chin Ao-Hsun, Homicidal Maniac leans on a strong ensemble — Patrick Tam, Angie Cheung Wai-Yee, Emily Kwan Bo-Wai — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about crime titles of 2000.
