Madiha moves to a new house with her family but soon begins experiencing strange things and seeing ghosts at the house. Her aunt informs her that her mother was murdered at that house and her father was accused of the crime, hence his placement into an asylum. Madiha's husband Sharif does what he can, ultimately consulting a doctor.
Directed by Ahmad El Khatib, The Cursed House leans on a strong ensemble — Magda El Khatib, Samir Sabri, Kamal Al-Shenawy — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
