About Carrusel
The story of Cafre Town Mayor, Dr. Santiago Rubio, a classic character of Latin American politics, whose highest aspiration is to be president of the Independent Republic. To do so he decides to build the best airport in Latin America, so he hires Hoyos Business Group, a conglomerate of rather shady contractors in their business.
Directed by Guillermo Iván, Carrusel leans on a strong ensemble — Gustavo Ángel Arias, Danna García, Valentina Acosta — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about comedy titles of 2012.
