Snake Lady

A married man falls in love with a beautiful tour guide but is unaware of her symbiotic relationship with a deadly cobra that has killed all of her previous suitors. This was remade at least two other times.

Directed by Adul Boonbut, Snake Lady leans on a strong ensemble — Likit Eakmongkol, Apiradee Pawaputanon, Passorn Leowrakwong — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.

The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about horror titles of 1989.
