About Peek a Boo Gang
Lynn (Gina Valentino) leaves her close boyfriend Mark to join her friend Traci in Hollywood where she can pursue a career as an actress. Arriving, she finds that Tracy's boyfriend owns a strip club auditioning talent for new dancers. Little does she know he is mainly interested in having sex with the talent before they can have jobs there. A later (undated) release excised all footage of Traci/Tracy, although there are some references to her in the soundtrack. Some additional actors appear in the later release.
Directed by Ron Jeremy, Peek a Boo Gang leans on a strong ensemble — Traci Lords, April Maye, Gina Valentino — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about screen titles of 1985.
