Director José Mojica Marins' biggest box-office film ever: Three young men make a wager on which one is able to have sex with more partners in a 24-hour period. The three men "hire" a gay "unsuspicious" judge and start a plain "rodox" porn movie.They take several women to a beach house where the contest takes place. The movie also claims to be the first to show bestiality, a female-dog (fake intercourse) and a male-horse (implicit intercourse).
Directed by José Mojica Marins, 24 Hours of Explicit Sex leans on a strong ensemble — Vânia Bonier, Albano Catozzi, Elza Leonetti — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about drama titles of 1985.
