About Tag det som en mand
Jens and Trille Woller have only been married for six months, and so far they live happily together in their cozy artist's dormitory, where Jens works with a brush and palette in front of his easel, while Trille sits behind her typewriter and writes short stories for the weekly magazines. But that's only so far. They are both very young and very impulsive by nature, and it only takes a trifle for them to get into a fight.
Directed by Johan Jacobsen, Tag det som en mand leans on a strong ensemble — Sigfred Johansen, Inga Schultz, Johannes Meyer — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about family titles of 1941.
