About Revykøbing kalder
Throughout the 1970s, Sejr Volmer Sørensen enjoyed great success with the revues he staged every summer in Nykøbing Falster until 1978. It was in these performances that comedian Kai Løvring truly rose to fame. An edited version of the 1973 summer revue.
Directed by Katrine Hedman, Revykøbing kalder leans on a strong ensemble — Kai Løvring, Ole Søltoft, Annie Birgit Garde — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about music titles of 1973.
