About Metalstorm: The Destruction of Jared-Syn
A seeker named Dogen rescues Dhyana after her father is murdered by the evil Jared-Syn. To avenge her father's death, Dogen must find Jared-Syn's hideout in the mysterious "Lost City". The only person who knows its location is an aging, burned-out seeker named Rhodes. Along the way, they must battle the hunter Baal and his Cyclopean minions for a final encounter with Jared-Syn.
Directed by Charles Band, Metalstorm: The Destruction of Jared-Syn leans on a strong ensemble — Jeffrey Byron, Michael Preston, Tim Thomerson — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about fantasy titles of 1983.
